NEETS IN THE EMPLOYMENT PATH is another project of Association ” Global Union for Innovation, Development and Education.” From 4 to 9 November 2015 with representatives from different countries we discussed issues related to young people and the labor market. The aim was to discuss the problems of youth unemployment and to share the best practices in dealing with the issue.
The main topic was about young people who are neither employed nor in education, or as is customary to call – NEETs. During the seminar we discussed the consequences of the financial crisis in Europe on the vast majority of young people in the age between 18 and 35 years. The presented practices were adapted for use in Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, The Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, Estonia, Macedonia, Cyprus and Croatia.
Having so many countries represented, gave us the opportunity to create contacts and to expect future cooperation.
