Representatives of “Global Union for Innovation, Development and Education” took part in a conference with topic ” Stable development as a leading principle during the 21 century “, which was organized by the initiative of MoveBG( Bulgaria Can) and the Great Duchy of Luxembourg , which are hosts of the conference. The event is held within the Luxembourg agency of the Council of EU.
International and Bulgarian experts discussed problems, regarding the climate changes and green economy, instruments and mechanisms for financial support for projects and initiatives for stable development on a national and European scale, as well as civil and business perspectives in this context. Reviewed were also the possibilities and the potential of Bulgaria for its biggest contribution regarding the encouragement of politics for stable development and the creation of stimulus for such initiatives. An important accent of the discussion were the role and the stable inclusion of civil society in the business.
The strategy of EU for achieving a stable development in a global scale and tracking the progress and achievements in that manner during the Chairmanship, was also discussed. The conference also increased the level of knowledge regarding key aspects and the trends on the topic, as well as pointing out the ways of achieving coherence of politics with the idea of stable development on a national and European scale.
