Representatives of association “Global Union for Innovation, Development and Education” took part in a round table discussion with topic: ” European standards and mechanisms for financing of festivals – CITY CONVERSATIONS”, organized by Bulgarian Festival Association, in partnership with European Music Festival, National Palace of Culture, Gyote – Institute Sofia and Municipality of Sofia.
The focus of the event, which took place on 30 April 2015, was the topic, dedicated on formulation and implementation of cultural politics in Bulgaria, with an accentuation on the festivals. The event gave start to the series CITY CONVERSATIONS – a joint initiative of Gyote – Institute, Municipality of Sofia and the cultural scene.
A host of the round table discussion was the CEO of the National Palace of Culture – Miroslav Borshosh, and others who also took part in the forum were: Boil Banov – deputy minister of culture, Enzio Vetzel – director of Gyote – Insitute Sofia, Vasil Dimitrov – chairman of management council of Bulgarian Festival Association and president of “European Music Festival, Tsanko Vasilev – director of International Festival for Short Movies Cinema “In the Palace” and others. The event was honored by Alexander Opitz – chairman of the association for free theater in Germany, which shared his expertise in the field of cultural politics.
