Representatives of “Global Union for Innovation, Development and Education” took part in the public discussion with topic ” Fugitive crisis : Promised Land EU ? “.
Bulgarian MEP Andrei Kovatchev, and Angel Dzhambazki, along with the journalist George Milkov and the Arabic expert docent Simeon Evstatiev, all took part in the discussion in Home of Europe in Sofia.
The Bulgarian MEP from Andrei Kovatchev stated in his thesis that it is needed for Europe to coordinate a united security policy, as well as shared capacity for defense and to create unified army, so it is not a “political dwarf”.
He invokes for an international conference for the political future of Syria with equality of powers and all interested countries. Kovachev emphasizes that EU must start increasing, instead of decreasing, the support for the regions with conflicts.
His college Angel Dzhambazki forecasts that the solution will most likely pass through the separation of Syria in influence areas. He points out that for exiting the crisis, it is needed to eliminate the reasons for the destruction of statehood in countries like Syria, Libya, Afghanistan and Iraq, related to the distribution of resources on their territories.
