In the beginning of the discussion, the director of Informational Bureau of European Parliament in Bulgaria, Theodor Stoitchev, presented data from the last research, held amongst 28 000 European citizens. The conclusions from it were that the people desire a better distribution of fugitive waves between the members of EU and share the opinion that illegal immigrants must work. Conclusions regarding Bulgaria include the opinion of the ones who participated in the research considering the major topics, regarding the distribution of refugees. Bulgarian citizens, that agree with the mandatory quotas, are 74% of participants, and barely 40% of them think that legal actions against illegal immigrants should be simplified.
