On 21 and 22 may 2015 was held a conference with topic: ” Strengthening the cooperation between Europe, Middle East and North Africa for fighting the uprising threat of terrorism, radicalism and foreign fighters”, in Sofia, Central Military Club, organized by Sofia Security Forum, Foundation Conrad Adenauer, Austrian institute for European politics and security politics, Ministry of defense of the Republic of Bulgaria and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
Within the conference were adverted topics such as prevention of radicalism, rethinking the relations between Europe, Middle East and North Africa, establishment of an institutional capacity for counteracting terrorism, handling the uprising number of fugitive waves and a way for integration of refugees, safety and threats to security in the three regions.
In the conference more than 40 country representatives took part, amongst them were ministers, diplomatic representatives, military, experts, academicians, representatives of the civil sector and students.
