For a second year the media group Bulgaria ON AIR, Investor and Bloomberg TV have organized conference “Education and Business”. The forum took place on 11 May 2015 in Sofia Hotel Balkan and was dedicated on the topic “Financial education for a stable economy”.
The conference “Education and Business – Financial education for a stable economy” is a result of faith and confidence of the organizers that in the foundation of each prosperous society is quality education and its adequate application. A topic was presented in the agenda, regarding the need of deeper study in financial and business disciplines in middle schools, as well as rival financial education in the universities.
The forum was moderated by Naira Chehich – a journalist in the Bloomberg TV studio in London, and a special guest to the event was prof. Steve Hanke – a professor in applied economics and director of the Institute for applied economics, global healthcare and research of business facilities in the university John Hopkins in Baltimore. He is a senior scientific associate and a director of the project “Problematic currencies” at Cato Institute in Washington, senior counselor in the international monetary research institute of the Renmin university in Pekin, special counselor for the Centre for Financial Stability in New York, editor for Globe Asia Magazine. Prof. Hanke is also a member of the council Charter of Association of Economical Measurement and Financial Consultative union of the United Arab Emirates.
