The seminar took place from 29.05.2015 to 31.05.2015 in hotel “Bankia Palace” in Bankia. The seminar is organized by Association Debates – Sofia, project “European Youth Debates for Sofia, financed by program “Europe for Municipality of Sofia”. More than 20 participants took part in the seminar, which were selected with a competition by filling a qualification form. Within the seminar, educations regarding the discipline “Debates” an “Speaking in front of a public” were carried through by certified teachers, members of the management of “Association Debates – Sofia”. During the first day, a training was done, regarding development of non-verbal and verbal skills, abilities for giving reasons, creation of stable argumentation, criticality and search for instability in the opposing side, active listening and so on. The lectures were with topics: British Parliamentary Debate, Argumentation, speaking in front of a public, the need of debates in the society. The second day was provided for applying the learned so far in the form of two practice debates, identified during the training. Interesting was the actual form of the debates: British parliamentary format, respectively 8 speakers, which is an international standard for competitions.
