Representatives of Global Union for Innovation, Development and Education took part in the public discussion held on 09.06.2015 with topic ” European agenda: review of the challenges and priorities facing EU”, organized by the civil platform for debate and MoveBG ( Bulgaria can), European Institute and Information Centre “Europe Directly”.
One year after the election of the new European Parliament and half an year since the work of “Juncker Commission”, we have made a “revision” of the accomplishments in key priorities of the program for labor positions, growth, justice and democratic change of the chairman of EC, by pointing out the major accents in the accomplished so far by the institutions and we have placed a focus on the upcoming steps for overcoming the major challenges facing the economical “restart” in Europe, foreign politics and security politics. Within the even have pointed out the problems, regarding the economic growth in Europe, the progress on the Transatlantic partnership for trading and investments, the creating of Energetic Union and United Digital Market. A focus was put on the European agenda for migration and EU on the world scene, by discussing the challenges and possibilities regarding migration waves, policy of growth, relations with Russia, strengthening the security on the EU borders. The second part of the discussion was dedicated to the threats and perspectives facing the European foreign politics and security politics. Anelia Ivancheva, directorate “International Cooperation” of Ministry of Interior, made remarks on one of the most important problems facing the EU – migration.
