On 9 June, National Association “Youth voice” organized ” National round table for handling problems regarding youth unemployment”. The event was accomplished under the patronage of Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, Ministry of Education and Science and Ministry of Youth and Sports. Representatives of the national authority, national NGOs, representatives of business and higher education schools, took part in. The youth unemployment represents one of the major problems for most of the developed European countries and more and more effort is being set on resolving it. So far the actions were aimed at identifying the faces of NEETs group ( not studying, not working, not participating in social life). The unveiling of possibilities for education, qualification and follow up labor realization is possible in one condition, that this very group of young people is clearly pointed out and that the problems regarding work with it are presented. On the round table, key problems were discussed, regarding youth unemployment. As possible solutions were: informal education, additional professional qualification, youth development and unemployment, as well as electronic system for early notifications in education. According to Bozhidar Danev, CEO of Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, the solutions which are being looked for, are firstly in the reform of education, so that the education prepares people and human resource which can enter the economy. This means review of educational programs and evening the educational with professional standards, not waiting for the implementation of dual education. He also added : “The essential problem is this one, of course, which is on ethnical evaluation. Shouldn’t we provide professional education, in which we separate e certain group of people form a certain civilized area. So, in the educational system, radical changes must be done. Not to mention that Bulgaria is unconditionally falling behind with the digital society, which is currently being formed in the whole world. So, this is the first part. The second part, which after all is in the hands of the government, is that in the educational system, specialties which are not needed in the labor market, should not be financed.”
